Mystakidis close to return
PAOK’s Giannis Mystakidis is close to a return from injury after suffering a torn ACL back in April.
Giannis Mystakidis will be making a return for PAOK in the near future after suffering a torn ACL injury in April. The 22-year old striker completed the full training program with the rest of the team for the first time since his injury and in the next few days, he will undergo a few specialized training sessions before his official return.
Mystakidis was in good form with PAOK last season before suffering the injury. He made 31 appearances for the Dikelafos tou Vorra, 17 as a starter, and scored six goals. His good showngs at the club level caught the eye of national team coach, Michael Skibbe, but he never received a call-up in the World Cup qualifying campaign.
