Nike release “I Am Giannis” series
In connection with the release of the Zoom Freak 1 shoe, Nike has created a five-part series focusing on the stunning rise to stardom of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The past year has been nothing short of incredible for Giannis. In the form of his life, the 24-year-old Greek star fired the Milwaukee Bucks to the Eastern Conference finals, before he was subsequently named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2018/2019 NBA campaign. As if that wasn’t already good enough, Antetokounmpo then claimed two awards at the ESPY Awards, winning the ‘Best Male Athlete’ and ‘Best NBA Player’ titles. A fantastic achievement for the Athens native.
In late June, Nike had unveiled the Zoom Freak 1 product, which is Antetokounmpo’s first signature shoe. Following that announcement, the company released the “I Am Giannis” series, in which Giannis’ inspiring journey to greatness is depicted over the course of five separate episodes.
All episodes can be viewed on YouTube.
