Apollon Smyrnis and Lamia continue to lead the way to promotion after both teams were victorious over the weekend while Aris, who defeated Agrotikos Asteras, remain 6 points off the pace for promotion.  Full Football League standings can be found here...

Lamia added to their winning streak after a 3-1 win over Panserraikos at home. The hosts opened the scoring with a controversial goal in the 6th minute, with FIVE players in an offside position. Lamia went on to double their lead with an own goal before two late goals in the first half for either side wrote the final 3-1 score. The win keeps Lamia six points clear of Aris and three points behind the league leaders, Apollon Smyrnis.

Six good minutes from Aris where enough for the Kitrinomavri to earn a 2-0 win over Agrotikos Asteras. Tatos scored in the 24th minute and Ilic doubled the home side’s lead in the 30th minute. Despite the win, the Thessaloniki club remain six points adrift a promotion place, trailing second placed Lamia. 

Apollon Smyrnis had an easy night against relegation bound Kalloni, defeating their opponents 4-0. The hosts scored two goals in each half with Siatravanis, Kallergis, and Petropoulos (two goals) finding the back of the net. Apollon are the clear favorites to earn promotion as they lead the way in the Football League standings. 

OFI’s good spell of form continued on Sunday with a 3-0 win over Acharnaikos. Chanti (35), Vouho (44), and Boateng (75) scored for the hosts who added another W to the win column, but were unable to cut the gap between the three teams ahead of the them.

Trikala, who have also been in great form as of late, thumped Aiginiakos 5-0 at home. The man of the match was Gianitsanis who finished the game with a hat-trick. Trikala sit in 5th place well behind the promotion places in the standings.

In other action, Panelefsiniakos added life to their survival hopes with a 2-1 win over Kissamikos in Elefsinia. Kallithea remain in the relegation zone after falling 2-1 away to Sparti.

Panegialios were awarded all three points against Panthrakikos.
