For a second straight season, the Olympiacos women’s volleyball team will appear in the Final-4 of the CEV Challenge Cup, Europe’s third tier club competition. The Erythrolefkes took a comfortable 0:3 set lead from their first leg matchup against Aesch Pfeffingen in Switzerland, and simply finished the job in Piraeus on Tuesday.

Olympiacos defeated the Swiss side with the same scoreline in the return leg, comfortably taking all three sets 25-4, 25-18, 25-20. The opening set was a  dominating performance from the hosts, allowing their opponents to only score 4 points! The following sets were a bit more competitive, however, Aesch Pfeffingen was no match for the Greek side, who now have their eyes on yet another European cup final (last year were defeated by Bursa).

In the semi-finals, Olympiacos will play the winner of the quarter-final matchup against Krasnodar and Ostrava.
