Panetolikos heap more misery on Apollon
GREEK SUPERLEAGUE - MATCHDAY 13
|Panetolikos||2 - 1||Apollon Smyrnis|
Panaitolikos piled on the misery for SuperLeague basement club Apollon Smynis on Monday after defeating Babis Tennes’ side 2-1 in Agrinio, while Panionios were held 1-1 at home by battling Levadiakos.
First-half goals from Willyan after three minutes and Vlad Morar in the 25th minute set the home side on their way, and although Thomas Jaguaribe pulled one back for the visitors three minutes after half-time, Panaitolikos held firm for the win.
It’s a result which moved Traianos Dellas’ Panaitolikos up to ninth place on 18 points, while Apollon, who are still without a win all season, remain rooted to the foot of the standings with just two points.

Panthers lick their wounds in Levadiakos draw
|Panionios||1 - 1||Levadiakos|
|Alberg 90'+5'||Ioannidis 41'|
Meanwhile in Nea Smyrni, Panionios needed a 95th-minute equaliser from Roland Alberg to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Levadiakos at the Nea Smyni stadium in a match which the home side twice hit the woodwork.
A Fotis Ioannidis goal in the 41st minute had given the visitors an unlikely lead, but despite an attacking onslaught from the Panthers in which Giorgos Masouras was twice denied by the frame of the goal, Levadiakos looked to be heading for a shock win.
But Panionios never threw in the towel, and they finally got back on level terms in the fifth minute of added time thanks to Alberg.
The draw means Panionios hang on to eighth place, while Levadiakos remain in the bottom two with right points.
