Panathinaikos sign Bech with three-year contract
Panathinaikos have unveiled the signing of Danish winger Uffe Bech on a three-year contract.
On Tuesday, Panathinaikos released this following statement:
“Panathinaikos FC announces the arrival of Danish footballer Uffe Bech. The 26-year-old signed a three-year contract after completing his medical examinations.”
Bech, 26, transfers to Panathinaikos as a free agent after leaving Hannover 96 this summer.
In 2015, Bech transferred to Hannover 96 from Nordsjaelland for two million euros, but injuries prevented him make an impact with the German club. Bech was consequently loaned to Greuther Furth and Brondby IF.
Bech is capable of playing either as a winger or a striker.
The Danish footballer shared his emotions from joining Panathinaikos:
“It is a great honour to join a club which is known by football supporters across the continent. Panathinaikos are on a path back to the top, and I want to be a part of this project. I believe that I will help the team with my speed and technical ability.”
