A sixth minute stoppage time goal from Ziabaris gave Iraklis a valuable three points at home to Trikala. After a goalless first half where each side had a good chance to pull ahead, Iraklis increased the pressure after the restart. The hosts had to wait deep into stoppage time to finally celebrate a goal as Ziabaris headed home a Panagiotoudi free-kick. While in Arta, AE Karaiskakis dropped points to AOX Kissamikos in a goalless draw.
The results move Iraklis up to 39 points along with tenth placed AE Karaiskakis, with AE Karaiskakis holding the head-to-head tiebreaker advantage having beaten Iraklis both times this season. Tenth place ensure a spot in next year’s Super League 2 (second tier) while a 11th or 12th placed finish means demotion to next year’s Football League (third tier).
Irodotos moved out of the two-division drop zone after coming from behind to defeat relegated Aiginiakos. Zannakis gave the visitors the lead in the 12th minute and Iliadis pulled the Cretan side level on 36 minutes. Goals from Grekos (49) and Nyktaris (56, P) put Irodotos ahead 3:1 before Eppas pulled one back in the 74th minute for Aiginaikos. Goufas sealed the three points for the hosts with eleven minutes remaining, to send Irodotos up to 12th place on 31 points. Trikala, who fell away to Iraklis, are now in 13th and are in the two-division drop zone.
Due to various issues and only housing 10-players in the lineup, Sparti were forced to forfeit their match away to Kerkyra. The islanders were awarded a 3:0 victory and jumped into sixth place with 44 points.
