Prijović currently leads the Greek Super League top scoring charts along with Olympiacos’ Karim Ansarifard with 14 goals this season. Although the 27-year-old was born in Switzerland, he represents Serbia at the international level and has scored 21 goals across all competitions with 14 in the league, 5 in the Greek Cup (PAOK are in pole position to advance to the Final), and 2 goals in PAOK’s disappointing and failed Europa League qualification campaign.

His 14 league goals make him the highest scoring Serbian across the world ahead of Milos Filipovic of Zrinjski Mostar with 13 goals and Videoto’s Danko Lazovic with 12 goals. Former Olympiacos man, Luka Milivojevic (now at Crystal Palace), along with Miralem Sulejmani (Young Boys) are follow with 10 goals each.

The Serbian international signed a new deal with PAOK last month, which will see him remain in Thessaloniki until the end of the 2022 season. He stated that he loves playing in Greece for PAOK and although there were high offers from China, it came as no surprise to see him reject these offers to remain in Thessaloniki.

It is reported that Prijović is the most expensive player in the history of PAOK FC, but the striker says that it comes with no extra pressure and that he is always motivated to keep improving.
