Rubit signs two-year contract with Olympiacos
On Monday, Olympiacos BC confirmed that Augustine Rubit has penned a two-year contract with the Piraeus club after leaving Brose Bamberg of Germany.
Olympiacos released this following statement:
“Olympiacos BC announces the arrival of Augustine Rubit. The American power forward/centre signed a two-year contract.”
Rubit, 29, has previously played for Tigers Tubingen, Ulm and Bamberg in his professional career.
During the 2018/2019 season, Rubit helped Bamberg reach the Final Four of the Basketball Champions League, registering an average of 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 19 appearances. Rubit also averaged 14.6 points and 5.3 points in the German championship with Bamberg.
Rubit was on the books of the South Alabama College between 2010 and 2014. He went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft.
