The 56 teams that gained promotion to next year’s Gamma Ethniki

Fifty six teams gained promotion to next year’s Gamma Ethniki, the new fourth tier of Greek football.

With the restructuring of Greece’s football league, the Gamma Ethniki, last season’s third division, will now be considered the fourth division in the Greek footballing pyramid. The Football League, last year’s second division, is the new Greek third tier while the second division was renamed as the Super League 2.

Next year’s Gamma Ethniki, classified as a semi-professional league, will consist of a multitude of clubs including 56 teams that were promoted from the 53 Football Clubs Association (Enosi Podosfairikon Somateion, EPS). The 53 EPS champions along with the runner-ups from the three founding Associations, Athens, Macedonia, and Piraues will be granted promotion to the 2019/20 Gamma Ethniki.
