The Eurobasket bracket to the final

The stage is set for the knockout rounds of this year’s Eurobasket with the first matches scheduled to tip-off on Saturday.

After the conclusion of the group stages of the competition, 16 teams remain in this year’s Eurobasket. One of the 16 is Greece, who finished fourth in Group A, and will face Group B winners, Lithuania, in the Last 16 on Saturday, September 9th at 2:30 PM EST (9:30 PM Greek time). If Greece knockouts out Lithuania they will face the winner of Russia versus Croatia in the quarterfinals (Croatia are favored to advance).

If Greece’s run continues to the semifinals they will face one of Finland/Italy or Serbia/Hungary, with Serbia considered the heavy favorites to make it to the Final-4 from this bracket.
