Torosidis adds to Ethniki’s injury problems
Vasilis Torosidis left Bologna’s weekend match with a muscle injury and his availability for Greece’s upcoming playoff qualifiers against Croatia is in question.
Vasilis Torosidis is the latest Greek player to fall to injury with his club after Kostas Manolas and Tasos Donis suffered injuries last week with Roma and Stuttgart, respectively. Torosidis left Bolgona’s weekend matchup against Atalanta in the 25th minute and on Monday was diagnosed with a grade 1 muscle strain.
The injury will leave Torosidis out for at least two weeks and if his recovery goes according to plan, he will be available just in time for the first leg in Zagreb against Croatia on November 9th.
