GAMMA ETHNIKI: The 2017/18 Gamma Ethniki continued over the weekend despite the international break. The big derby in group 6 between Ionikos and Ethnikos ended in a goalless draw. Ionikos sit with only one point from two games while Ethnikos moved up to four points. Aspropyrgos went two for two with a 0-1 win on the road against Zeugalotiou and lead the group.
GREEK SUPERLEAGUE: Unfortunately, the vast majority of teams that are relegated from the Superleague fail to complete their season in the Football League, with Iraklis being the latest example of this disappointing outcome in Greek football.
